Central Coast Heritage Protection Act

The Central Coast Heritage Protection Act (CCHPA) would designate hundreds of thousands of acres of public land in Los Padres National Forest and the Carrizo Plain National Monument as Wilderness, scenic areas, and special management areas. The bill would also designate several new Wild and Scenic Rivers and would initiate a feasibility study for the 400-mile long Condor Trail. Learn more about the legislation here.
