Forever Wild Legacy Society Launch at Condor’s Hope

2 min read

On Friday, April 17, Los Padres ForestWatch welcomed a special group of supporters to Condor’s Hope Winery to celebrate the official launch of the Forever Wild Legacy Society.

With perfect spring weather setting the stage, guests gathered for a memorable afternoon of connection, gratitude, and shared commitment to the landscapes we all cherish. The afternoon began with a vineyard tour and an inside look at Condor’s Hope’s unique approach to farming. As a dry-farmed, off-the-grid vineyard, they rely entirely on natural rainfall and thoughtful land stewardship. Guests learned how these methods not only produce exceptional wine but also protect soil health, conserve water, and sustain the surrounding ecosystem. Their role as true stewards of the land made Condor’s Hope an especially meaningful setting for this gathering.

Forever Wild Legacy donors learned about land stewardship practices at Condor’s Hope Vineyard.

Following the tour, guests enjoyed a thoughtfully prepared lunch made with 100% locally sourced ingredients, highlighting the bounty of the region. The experience was complemented by a curated wine tasting, offering a deeper appreciation for the connection between the land, the vineyard, and the final product in each glass.

The event was, above all, an opportunity to say thank you. Forever Wild Legacy Society members are a remarkable group of supporters who have made a lasting commitment to safeguard Los Padres National Forest and Carrizo Plain National Monument. Their vision ensures that future generations will be able to experience the same awe-inspiring landscapes, quiet backcountry, and rich biodiversity that inspire us today.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us for this special afternoon—and especially to those whose legacy will help keep these wild places forever wild.
