Bettylou joined the Fur-estWatch team in 2026 when she was adopted by her human, Jessica. She is a one-year-old terrier/dachshund mix with a big personality packed into a small, speedy frame. Bursting with energy and curiosity, Bettylou approaches every day like it’s an adventure waiting to happen. Whether she’s bounding down a hiking trail, sprinting across the beach, or eagerly circling at dinnertime, Bettylou brings enthusiasm to everything she does.
She has a particular talent for finding the perfect stick—every stick, in fact—and believes each one deserves her full attention. Lizards, on the other hand, are her sworn rivals, and she never misses an opportunity to give chase (even if they always seem to win). When she’s not on the move, Bettylou enjoys the simple pleasures in life: crisp apple slices, cozy naps, and recharging just enough to do it all over again.
Despite her many loves, Bettylou does have one very strong dislike: bucket hats. For reasons known only to her, they are absolutely unacceptable, and she makes her opinion clear whenever one appears.
