Krista comes from a varied background that includes animal welfare, non-profit consulting, event production, and program management. She has always had an affinity for the natural world which is what propelled her to attend Humboldt State University where she planned to major in Forestry. After earning her degree in Theater Arts instead, she then propelled herself to attend USC for Grad School to study film production. After some years in the entertainment industry, the non-profit world seemed like a kinder, gentler place and that’s where she has been for a number of years. She lives in Ojai and spends her time exploring the outdoors with her dog and horse.
